The advances in Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology has enabled motion detection to be implemented in many applications for various industries. MEMSIC’s family of magnetometers are available in both dual-axis and three-axis versions. They are based on anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) Permalloy technology sensors, which have superior accuracy and response time characteristics, while consuming significantly less power than alternative technologies. The magnetic sensors are designed in a Wheatstone bridge configuration to detect the changes in the external magnetic field. The magnetometer provides a store or setup function of the internal magnetization field. MEMSIC Universal Evaluation Platform offers an easy to operate platform with a common interface for all MEMSIC sensor component products. A user can easily start evaluatng & demoing their sensor application by attaching the appropriate Memsic sensor daughter board.
